How can I overcome a lifestyle of over 20 years in a day?
Divorce, depression, and PTSD disrupted my mind-body connection, leaving me feeling disconnected and emotionally fragile.
Yoga provided a safe space to reconnect with my body, fostering self-awareness and self-compassion. Through intentional movement, breathwork, and meditation, yoga allowed me to tune into my physical sensations, thoughts, and emotions without judgment.
The pain of divorce grief and sense of loss associated with the end of a marriage was overwhelming. While therapy and support systems are crucial during this time, I found a powerful tool many overlooked: yoga.
